Apple Cider

My beagle seems to really suffer with mild ear infections due to genetic skins problems. I always take him to the vet asap when I see the signs but I’ve heard that mixing one part of apple cider or even white vinegar with one part of water will do the trick.

I’m happy to get him the medication but if it works just as well, I’ll try it! Does it actually work?

My mom vomited on the rug and light leather couch. Can I use apple cider vinegar and it not stain? I don’t have white vinegar on hand.

I’m making a Chocolate Mocha cake and the recipe calls for Buttermilk but I don’t have any. A substitution for it is 1 tablespoon of white vinegar with a cup of milk. Would I be alright substituting apple cider for white? I hate to use a substitution for a substitution but I don’t have a way of getting to a store right now.

I want to dye some yarn, but my regular white vinegar seems to be all gone. Can I use apple cider vinegar? I’ll be using wilton icing dyes, which I have used before with great results.

Will the ACV discolor the final product? I could dye it with colors that will be enriched by the golden color, rather than messed up by it.

I’m trying to make a fruit fly trap with apple cider vinegar, but all the recipes I’ve found for apple cider vinegar require making it from scratch, from apples and such. Maybe this is a dumb question, but I have powdered apple cider mix at home and white vinegar, so can I just mix the two and get a similar product? So i told my mom to get more white vinegar, so i am able to clean my hamsters cage. We do have Apple Cider Vinegar, and a few others. Would these be okay to use in the hamster’s cage. My mom doesn’t want to run out until about 7pm to get the vinegar, and i really need to clean the cage today.

I need to know if I can use apple cider vinegar for pickled eggs or do I have to use plain white vinegar.
