Apple cider is out of season.
Are there any spices or something that you can add to apple juice to make it taste like apple cider?
I’m home alone and have a craving for a sweet yet spicy cup of hot apple cider. However, all I have is the cider itself. What spices and such could I add to a single cup of plain apple cider to make it into a yummy, hot drink?
I’m marinating my pork chops in apple cider, lemon, garlic, honey and a bit of dark rum. Any tips on herbs or spices to add? Thanks!
I’m going to marinate them first for an hour or two, then dry them, sear them and finish them in the oven while I make my sides. Going to reduce and thicken the marinade for a nice sauce.
Is there a way to make apple cider from apple juice? I know it wouldn’t "technically" be cider because of the processing and the apples aren’t the first of the season, but I’m basically looking for the things I could add to apple juice to make it more cider-like. I assume cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and other spices and stuff, but I just wondered if anyone had a recipe or additional ingredients. Thanks!
