i have a gallon of apple cider and i want it to be hard cider, how can i do this without all the extra stuff.
Want to make hard cider, but don’t want to squeeze the apples. Anyone know a place in New Jersey (or surrounding states) that sells unpasteurized cider? What about online?
Can I make hard cider from apple cider bought at a cider mill? I think its pasturized will it still work?
My grand-daughter ask me this and I do not have an answer.
I’m not talking about hard cider, but we by both at times, I think I bought cider last because it was on sale. There was apple juice of the same brand next to it. They were both clear, the cider might have been a shade darker, but not very much at all.
Thanks in advance!!
I have an acre where I already planted a Pink Lady and Fuji apple tree. I plan to get a Golden Russet to help pollinate the Pink Lady and start making my own hard cider. What yeast would I want to use for a fairly sweet result? Recommendations for blends of these apple varieties or others?
That is one thing I really do miss this time of year. I can get it here but have to pay a lot and order it a ling time in advance.
Nice cold apple cider but not just apple juice. There is a difference. I do not mean hard cider either. Not the alcohol kind.
Real cider has a tang to it and is not too sweet. very refreshing.
And why does apple cider taste soooooo much better? lol
Now I’m not talk hard cider.. hehe
And which is healthier? I am assuming juice.. Correct me if I’m wrong..
